Buying Guide
- Licensing and authenticity: Prefer figures with official licenses (Megahouse, Sega, Kotobukiya, Good Smile) to ensure build quality and long-term value.
- Scale and display space: Consider 1/8 to 1/6 scales for presence, and plush or Nendoroids for compact shelves. Pairing different scales can create dynamic dioramas.
- Material and care: PVC and resin figures require dusting and occasional display care. Plush items need spot cleaning and safe storage.
- Display compatibility: Use supplied bases or stands for stability. Figures with dynamic poses may require extra display support to prevent tipping.
- Collectibility vs. access: Limited editions tend to hold value but may be harder to obtain. Balance rarity with your budget and display goals.
- Character focus: For Makoto enthusiasts, pairing a premium statue with a Nendoroid offers both dramatic display and expressive versatility.
- Storage and packaging: Retain packaging for resale value when possible, especially for sealed items in pristine condition.
Assembling a Makoto-centric collection can range from display-quality figures to playful plush scenes. When selecting items, consider display space, collector goals, licensing, and how each piece fits with other Persona 5 Dancing and Royal era memorabilia.
