If you are searching for a Jimi Hendrix picture disc, note that the five listings below are identified as CDs or DVDs, not as vinyl picture discs. They may suit fans looking for Hendrix audio, concert footage, or collectible releases, but verify the format and packaging before buying. The 1970 interview release is best for spoken-word interest, Winterland for a concert-focused audio release, and the Isle of Wight DVDs for video. None is confirmed by the supplied product details to be a picture-disc LP.

1970 Interview Picture Disc
The title includes “Picture Disc,” but the supplied format information identifies this item as an Audio CD. That difference matters: the listing details do not confirm a vinyl record or picture-disc pressing.
Best for: Hendrix fans interested in an interview-oriented release and collectors who want to investigate a specific title. It is selected because its name most directly matches the search phrase, while its stated format gives buyers an important point to verify.
Check before buying: If you specifically need a vinyl picture disc, confirm the physical format and artwork with the seller. Do not assume the title alone means it is a picture-disc LP.
Winterland
Winterland is listed as an Audio CD by Hendrix Experience. It is a music-format alternative for shoppers who want a Hendrix release to play rather than a video disc. The provided information does not specify track details, edition, or whether the release includes picture-disc vinyl.
Best for: Buyers whose priority is an audio release, especially if they are comparing the search result with the interview CD. It was selected as one of the few listed products presented as music rather than DVD footage.
Check before buying: Choose this only if an Audio CD meets your needs. The supplied listing data does not establish that it is a vinyl edition.
Blue Wild Angel: Isle Of Wight
This Blue Wild Angel: Jimi Hendrix At The Isle Of Wight listing is identified as a DVD. It provides a video-oriented option for fans interested in a named Hendrix performance release, rather than a collectible audio disc.
Best for: Viewers seeking an Isle of Wight concert DVD. It was selected because its title clearly identifies the performance context and the supplied format distinguishes it from the two CDs in this selection.
Check before buying: This is listed as a DVD, not a picture disc. Confirm that you want video media before ordering.
Blue Wild Angel: Live At Isle Of Wight
This separate listing is also a DVD for Blue Wild Angel – Live at the Isle of Wight, directed by Murray Lerner according to the supplied product information. Its similar title makes it worth comparing with the other Isle of Wight DVD rather than assuming the listings are identical.
Best for: Buyers who want to compare the listed DVD editions and prefer a listing that names its director. It was selected as a relevant video alternative for Hendrix fans, not as a vinyl product.
Check before buying: The provided details do not explain how this edition differs from the other Blue Wild Angel DVD. Compare listing descriptions and packaging carefully.
Jimi Hendrix DVD
This product is listed as a DVD and names Albert Allen as an actor and Gary Weis and Joe Boyd as directors. The supplied information does not provide a picture-disc format or describe the DVD’s full contents.
Best for: Fans seeking a general Jimi Hendrix video release rather than a particular vinyl pressing. It rounds out the selection with a DVD that is not identified by the Isle of Wight title.
Check before buying: The listing details provided here do not establish the program contents. Review the product description to confirm it is the film or footage you want.
Buying Guide: How To Choose A Jimi Hendrix Picture Disc
Is the listing actually a vinyl picture disc?
Check the format field first. A picture disc is a vinyl record with images incorporated into the disc’s design; a product title or cover image by itself does not confirm that format. In this selection, the stated formats are Audio CD and DVD. If vinyl is essential, look for an explicit vinyl or LP format and clear photos of the record itself.
Should you choose audio or video?
Choose one of the Audio CDs if you want a music-format release, and choose a DVD if you want video. The supplied details do not provide enough track or program information to compare exact contents, so check the individual listing before deciding.
How do you compare similar releases?
For the two Blue Wild Angel DVDs, compare edition details, packaging, and included content rather than relying on similar titles. For any collectible, verify the item’s condition, format, and whether the pictured item matches what the seller will ship.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are any of these listings confirmed as Jimi Hendrix vinyl picture discs?
No. The supplied formats identify two products as Audio CDs and three as DVDs. None is confirmed as a vinyl picture disc.
Why does the 1970 Interview listing say “Picture Disc”?
That phrase appears in the product name, but the supplied format says Audio CD. Confirm the physical format with the seller if you need vinyl.
Which selection is best for someone who wants video?
The three DVD listings are the video options. Two are titled around Blue Wild Angel and the Isle of Wight; the third is a general Jimi Hendrix DVD listing.
What should I verify before buying a collectible release?
Confirm the media format, edition, condition, included content, and whether the product photos show the actual item. These checks help avoid mistaking a CD or DVD for a picture-disc record.
